We have made the ordering process as straight forward as possible. Simply browse our shop, choose you favourite sweets and add them to your basket. Once you are satisfied with your choice click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for some details to complete your order. Once the order is completed and paid for, you will receive a confirmation via email.
We use APC Couriers and Royal Mail/Parcelforce for our deliveries.
Cost of delivery includes packaging materials and packaging. We have subsidised the postage and packaging costs to help keep your costs to a minimum.
Delivery can take between 3-4 working days however, you will often receive your order much sooner than this. In exceptional circumstance delivery may take longer. In this event we will notify you via email. We reserve the right to replace items with a similar substitute of equal or similar value in the unusual circumstance that we are unable to obtain an item. We always strive to complete your order as you wish, but if you don't like the substitute, you can of course return it to us.
We endeavour to despatch your order as quickly as possible howver, we do not send out packages on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
If you require your order for a specific date, please contact us when you place your order and we will endeavour to meet your requirements.
We do not accept responsibility for delays caused by a third party.
All deliveries by APC Couriers will require a signature to ensure your order is delivered safely. You have the opportunity at the checkout to give special shipping instructions i.e. if you are unlikely to be available to receive your package and you would like it left with a neighbour please state this here. A signature will still be required.
If on the other hand you would like the package to be left, for example on your doorstep, in your porch or some other similar safe place please type this onto your special shipping instructions at the checkout. As no signature will be taken, neither Sweet Sentiments Ltd nor APC Couriers will be held responsible for your package after it has been delivered.
Please be aware that deliveries made by our courier will be attempted on 2 occasions. A card will be left if there is a failed delivery with details explaining how to obtain you parcel. It the courier is unable to complete delivery and does not receive any contact from you, the parcel will be returned to us and there will be a redelivery charge of £15.00. Please make sure there is someone available to accept delivery.
On receiving your parcel, please take time to check your order. We take every care to ensure that you order is complete before despatching however; on rare occasions you may find you that your order is incorrect. Please ensure that we are informed of any discrepancies within 48 hours of receipt. Claims outside of this period will not be accepted.
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to BFPO addresses.
We expect that you will be delighted with your sweets. If there is a problem with the quality of your product please return them within 7 working days to the address at the foot of this page. Please enclose your contact details, details of the problem and any material associated with the product.
Please note: We do all we can to ensure that we send out goods that are top quality and that they are in perfect condition. We cannot accept responsibility for goods that are damaged by climatic conditions once dispatched or that are damaged during transit.
We accept Credit/Debit card transactions, which are handled by the secure card processing facility at SAGE PAY, one of the leading companies in this field.
Sage Pay recognise that security is one of the major concerns for the shopper during an online transaction. We do not hold any Credit/Debit Card details and at no time have access to these.
As a result of the manufacturing process, of which we are not responsible, we are regrettably unable to provide a 100% guarantee that our sweets will not contain traces of nuts. We will endeavour to provide full details of ingredients of individual sweets as/when this is possible.
We aim to portray of products as accurately a possible, both textually and visually. On occasion however, manufacturers will change wrappings, packaging and design. We will endeavour to update the product details as quickly as possible. On occasion however, you may receive and item that differs slightly from that shown.
